With the continuous development of independent brands, Chinese brands have gradually got rid of people's inherent impressions and have performed well in the domestic and international markets. Recently, CBN and CBNData announced the four annual lists of China's new consumer brands in 2021.
In the 2021 China New Consumer Brands Annual Potential List, a total of 42 new consumer brands were selected. They are mainly concentrated in the four categories of food and beverage (including catering), beauty and personal care, clothing and footwear, and lifestyle. According to CBNData, these 42 brands have the characteristics of natural growth potential, and population structure, consumption upgrades and lifestyle changes are the main factors.
Many new Chinese consumer brands have also performed well overseas, especially in industries such as electronic appliances, clothing and beauty, and food. Among them, electronics and home appliance brands account for one-third of the number of overseas brands, and brands such as Huawei, vivo, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Midea, and DJI are on the list.
