announced today, and Xiaomi Group was listed again at 397th place. This is the
sixth consecutive year that Xiaomi has entered the list. Xiaomi officials
expressed their gratitude and said that in the future, they will continue to
adhere to technology-based, continuous innovation, and strive to become the
world's new generation of hard-core technology leaders, providing global users
with a better smart technology experience.
It is worth mentioning that Xiaomi Auto has
performed well in the new energy smart car market, and its business revenue
will have an impact on Xiaomi's future ranking on the list. Lei Jun once said
that in the next 15 to 20 years, Xiaomi will become one of the top five
automakers in the world.
According to Xiaomi's first quarter 2024
financial report, the company's total revenue reached 75.5 billion yuan, a
year-on-year increase of 27.0%, achieving double-digit growth for two
consecutive quarters; net profit reached 6.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year
increase of 100.8%, setting a single quarter record high. In terms of
smartphone business, global shipments increased by 33.7% year-on-year to 40.6
million units, achieving year-on-year growth for three consecutive quarters. At
the same time, Xiaomi's mobile phone sales performance is also very strong,
ranking in the top three in 56 markets and in the top five in 67 markets. This
has further enhanced Xiaomi's competitiveness in the global market.
In addition, according to Fortune, in the
past year, the total operating income of companies worldwide was about 41
trillion US dollars, equivalent to one-third of the global GDP. Xiaomi is the
only Chinese company that has been on the list twice and has maintained a
high-speed development trend in the past decade.
