A new POCO is coming， it will come with MIUI 14 as standard
Less than a year ago we came across the POCO X4 series, which comes in two different versions:
POCO X4 Pro 5G and POCO X4 GT,two devices that bring the brand together with incredible specs and very competitive prices pushed to the top.
Now, everything indicates that its successor is already on the way,as it appears not only in one, but in two different official certification bodies:
one is Indian and the other is Chinese. And thanks to these certifications, we know some details about the new generation POCO X5 5G.
Good connectivity and great battery for the new POCO:
If we take a look at the Chinese certification,the new POCO X5 5G (probably the name of the new device) will arrive with dual-band WiFi and a 4,900 mAh battery (available as a 5,000 mAh battery).The same agency also said that it will come with 5G connectivity,although this is not surprising since the previous generation already included models with the latest mobile data.
In addition, there are software claims that it will arrive with MIUI 14, a new version of Xiaomi's customization layer.In the case of the Indian certification,the Indian head of POCO himself has confirmed that they are working on a new terminal,which could be the POCO X5 5G. Of course,
the regulator that registers the terminal doesn't include the specification or more information about it.Still, rumors surrounding the POCO X5 5G say its LCD panel has a 120 Hz refresh rateand is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 778G+ processor, a mid-range chip that has shown very good performance so far.
