Lenovo Group held an innovative technology conference in Seattle that fully revolved around AI (artificial intelligence).
On the 15th of this month, the 2024 Lenovo Tech World officially opened.
The conference showcased Lenovo's innovative products, technologies and solutions in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), as well as the results and future cooperation plans of promoting the popularization of AI technology applications with global partners.
Lenovo's innovative products and solutions include AI Now, an AI intelligent body built into smart devices, liquid cooling technology for data centers, AI mobile phones, AI computers and servers, and foot-based robots.
Lenovo Group Chairman and CEO Yang Yuanqing pointed out that AI has improved the quality of life of individuals, provided higher productivity for enterprises, and protected a more sustainable planet. Lenovo defines the future as "Hybrid AI", a concept first proposed by Lenovo at last year's Innovation Technology Conference. Yang Yuanqing said: "Now, this trend is more obvious. Private AI - including personal AI and enterprise AI - will coexist with public AI. They complement each other and provide enhanced results for different customer needs."
In addition to introducing new progress in the field of AI, Lenovo also took the opportunity to show off its luxurious "circle of friends". Nvidia CEO Huang Renxun, Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger and AMD CEO Su Zifeng all came to the conference in person to support and disclosed a number of strategic cooperation with Lenovo. Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Qualcomm President and CEO Cristiano Group also sent speech videos.
Besides, at the conference, Lenovo Group also announced a cooperation with FIFA, and Lenovo Group became FIFA's official technical partner. The cooperation agreement covers the 2026 FIFA World Cup to be held in Canada, Mexico and the United States, and the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup to be held in Brazil. Lenovo Group's products, services and solutions, including a series of the latest AI innovation product portfolios, iconic ThinkPad laptops, tablets, Motorola mobile phones and servers, will be used in the 2026 and 2027 World Cup events.
